News Flash – Product of the Year in Partnership with Netmums

Product of the Year are pleased to announce a new partnership with Netmums, the UK’s fastest growing online parenting organisation.

The partnership will allow Netmums members to become actively involved in helping to choose the products which are entered into the consumer survey, as well taking part in the actual voting process.

The partnership brings together two organisations that seek to provide consumers with valuable, trustworthy and independent information on supermarket products.

The partnership will see Siobhan Freegard, founder of Netmums, chairing the 2013 jury day as part of Netmums members becoming more actively involved in helping choosing the products which are entered into the consumer survey, as well as members being involved in the voting process. The online parenting organisation will also be offering its million members exclusive competitions; will have presence at the Awards night; and will engage its members with blogs and product reviews through its forum channels and on Facebook and Twitter.

Supporting a wider PR campaign, the partnership guarantees media coverage for Product of the Year and for its brands with the influential website. The partnership provides the opportunity for award winners to run product trials with Netmums’ members, further endorsing the winning products with online user reviews and recommendations. With almost 4,000,000 monthly unique visitors, it therefore offers a powerful vehicle to reach those with the purchasing power, and through a variety of channels, such as participative forums, and social networking channels.
